Orroroo CFS

The Orroroo Country Fire Service (CFS) station, established in 1953, serves the Orroroo community as part of the Black Rock Group. Located at 12172 RM Williams Highway, Orroroo SA 5431, the station operates two primary vehicles: - **Orroroo 24P**: A 4WD light pumper with a 2,000-litre water capacity, equipped with breathing apparatus, road crash rescue tools, and an AED. - **Orroroo 34**: A 4WD general-purpose appliance with a 3,000-litre water capacity, featuring GPS and an AED. The station responds to various incidents, including grass fires, vehicle accidents, and medical assists. Training sessions are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm, with cadet training on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
