Orbost

Situated along the Snowy River in Orbost, the Orbost Arts Centre is a vibrant hub for visual and performing arts, offering a diverse range of exhibitions and events. Its permanent collection features works from the Australian Wood Design Exhibition, showcasing over 20 years of wood design excellence. The centre also supports over 30 regional artists and craftspeople through its shop. Adjacent to the historic Slab Hut Visitor Centre and Forest Park, it provides a cultural focal point for both locals and visitors. As a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organisation, the centre relies on community support to deliver its programs.
