The Orbost Annual Poker Run, established in 2010, is a cherished community event held on the first Saturday of March each year. Motorcycle enthusiasts and car owners gather to traverse scenic routes, collecting cards at various stops to form a poker hand. The day culminates at the Orbost Club Hotel, where participants enjoy a BBQ lunch, live music, raffles, and an auction. Proceeds support Ronald McDonald House Monash, providing a 'home away from home' for families of seriously ill children. Over the years, the event has raised over $300,000, becoming one of RMHM's largest donors.
