Opalton Bush Park, located 125 kilometers south of Winton, offers a unique outback experience. The park provides ample camping space, including some undercover sites and three rustic huts. Visitors can enjoy fossicking for opals in the designated area, with a fossicking license available for purchase. The park also boasts nearly 7 kilometers of walking tracks leading to historic sites, a lookout, and a dam. Birdwatching is popular, with sightings of rare species. Camping is permitted for up to three months, with a small fee applicable.
