Once a bustling township established in 1891 along the Old Goldfields Road, the Old Doodlakine Townsite now offers a glimpse into Western Australia's pioneering past. Situated at the intersection of the Old Goldfields and Doodlakine-Kununoppin Roads, the site features remnants such as foundations and a low brick wall, marking its historical significance. The town's decline began with the arrival of the railway in 1893, which bypassed the original site, leading to its relocation and the eventual abandonment of the original township.
