The Nyngan Ag Expo, held annually on the first Saturday in August at the Nyngan Showgrounds, is a vibrant celebration of rural life in western New South Wales. The 2025 event, scheduled for August 2, features a diverse range of attractions, including sheep, cattle, and goat studs, farm machinery displays, and a Vintage and Modified Tractor Pull. Visitors can also enjoy the Outback Sports Shear competition, Australian National Sheep Dog Trials, live entertainment, food and wine stalls, fashion shows, arts and crafts, and activities for children. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for pensioners, and free for children under 16.
