The Nor West Jockey Club, established in 1867, is the second oldest race club in Western Australia. Located just one kilometer east of Roebourne, the club hosts four annual race meetings in May, June, and July, featuring a powdery Pindan track set against the stunning Pilbara backdrop. The venue offers unique amenities, including a two-story members' marquee with its own bar, TAB, courtyard, and amenities, as well as public areas with full TAB facilities, bars, bookmakers, and shaded grassed areas trackside. The club is a not-for-profit organization run by dedicated local volunteers committed to preserving the racing heritage of the Pilbara.
