Nundle Woollen Mill, established in 2001, is one of Australia's last operating spinning mills, utilizing traditional machinery, some over a century old, to transform raw wool into vibrant 8-ply, 12-ply, and 20-ply yarns. Visitors can witness antique equipment in action and explore a diverse range of hand-knitted items and Australian designer wool fashion, including the renowned Nundle socks. Guided tours are available Monday to Friday at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, with bookings recommended. The mill is open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering free entry.
