Nullawil, VIC

In the heart of Nullawil, Victoria, an 80-year-old concrete silo stands adorned with a striking mural by acclaimed Australian street artist Sam Bates, known as Smug. Completed in July 2019, the artwork features a farmer in a blue flannelette shirt alongside his loyal kelpie dog, Jimmy. The dog's registration tag bears engravings of a galah and a stick, nodding to the town's name origins: "Nulla" meaning stick and "Wil" derived from "willock," meaning galah. This mural is part of the Australian Silo Art Trail, celebrating the region's rich agricultural heritage.
