Northern Geelong Community Women's Shed

The Northern Geelong Community Women's Shed, located at Waverley Road in Lara, VIC 3212, is a welcoming space dedicated to empowering women of all ages and backgrounds. Established in May 2025, it offers a variety of programs and activities designed to foster skills development, social connections, and personal growth. Operating primarily out of the Lara Community Centre, the shed provides a safe environment where women can engage in diverse workshops, share experiences, and build a supportive community. With a zero-tolerance policy for disrespect, the shed aims to reduce social isolation and promote mental well-being among its members.
