Nome

Nome is a rural locality in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia, covering 53.1 square kilometers with a population of approximately 990 residents. Situated southeast of Townsville's central business district, it is bordered by Cape Cleveland to the north and Mount Elliot to the southeast. The area is characterized by grazing lands, rural residential housing, and some crop cultivation in the southeast.
