Amenities include composting toilets, with no mobile phone coverage available. Open year-round, the area is closed during the wet season from the Friday before Christmas until Good Friday. Advance bookings are essential, with a maximum stay of seven consecutive nights. Visitors are advised to bring drinking water, gas or fuel stoves, and insect repellent. Crocodiles inhabit the area; always exercise caution near water.
