Newry Islands National Park

Newry Islands National Park, nestled within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, offers a pristine escape with its pearl-colored beaches, rocky headlands, open woodlands, and dense rainforests. Accessible by private boat from Seaforth, the park comprises eight islands, including Newry, Rabbit, and Outer Newry. Visitors can enjoy camping, walking trails, and wildlife watching, with facilities like picnic tables, shelters, and non-flush toilets available. Activities such as boating, fishing, and snorkeling are popular, though fishing restrictions apply in certain zones.
