Situated at the corner of Fortescue Avenue and Newman Drive in Newman, Western Australia, the Newman Visitor Centre serves as the gateway to the Pilbara region. Visitors can embark on tours of the world's largest open-cut iron ore mine, explore the Martumili Art Centre showcasing Aboriginal art, and access maps and information on local attractions. The centre also offers short-term parking for self-contained vehicles, a dump point, and potable water. Open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 1 pm, it is closed on Sundays.
