
Nene Valley is a coastal locality in South Australia's Limestone Coast region, approximately 377 km southeast of Adelaide and 23 km southwest of Mount Gambier. Established on 31 October 1996, it encompasses the Nene Valley Shack Site, a settlement of single-storey dwellings connected by Nene Valley Shacks Road. The area features a coastal dune system, with the Nene Valley Conservation Park occupying the northwest section. The name "Nene Valley" originates from the shipwreck of the Nene Valley on 19 October 1854.
