Neil Turner Weir, constructed in 1984, is a concrete and sand-filled structure on the Maranoa River's northern side in Mitchell, Queensland. It serves as a water supply for the town, supports irrigation, and regulates streamflow. The weir features a free campsite equipped with public toilets, picnic tables, and barbecue facilities. A nearby walking track offers a 4.5 km one-way trek along the riverbank to Major Mitchell Caravan Park. Fisherman's Rest, a popular fishing spot, is located approximately 5 km west of the weir.
