Located at 10 Reynolds Street in Nebo, Queensland, the Nebo Shire Museum is a tribute to the pioneers of the past. Established in the early 1980s to celebrate the Shire’s Centenary in 1983, a group of locals began gathering historic objects, leading to the museum's opening in 1998. The diverse collection includes items from Nebo, Glenden, Coppabella, Mt Britton, Elphinstone, and Suttor. Notably, the Mount Britton Collection of paintings tells the story of early pioneers' way of life, offering a universal Australian appeal. Visitors can also explore the Historical Nebo Hotel nearby. The museum is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Admission is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children.
