Located at Narromine Aerodrome, the Narromine Aviation Museum showcases nearly a century of aviation history through a captivating collection of artefacts, documents, and photographs. The museum's displays are divided into three eras: 1916-1939, 1939-1945, and 1945-present, highlighting significant events and developments in aviation. Notably, the museum houses unique aircraft, including a flyable replica of the 1907 Wright Flyer Model A, an original Corben Super Ace homebuilt (1938), and an original Hawkridge Venture glider (1953). Visitors can also view a Rolls Royce Merlin 25 aero engine and a detailed diorama model of the aerodrome during World War II. The museum is open daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, except Tuesdays, and offers a 200-seat auditorium available for events and bookings.
