Situated on the south side of Narrabri, the Narrabri Showground offers a primitive campground with spacious sites for tents, campervans, motorhomes, and caravans. It provides both powered and unpowered sites at reasonable rates, complete with hot showers. Overnight stables are available, and pets are welcome on leashes. The showground is conveniently located near Narrabri Lake, featuring walking and bike tracks, and is a short walk to motels and a service station. The hall is available for hire, suitable for parties, auctions, and school excursions. Annual events include the show in April/May, pony camp during the September/October school holidays, as well as rodeo and campdraft events. The friendly caretaker resides onsite at the entry gatehouse. All visitors must check in with the caretaker upon arrival and sign in via QR code before setting up camp.
