This initiative follows the Narrabri Shire Council's endorsement of a licence agreement with local green energy company Geni.Energy Limited. The agreement permits the installation, operation, repair, and replacement of battery electric storage facilities for a term of five years, with a five-year option. The community battery aims to support renewable energy efforts in the region.
