Narcissus Hut

Narcissus Hut, nestled at the northern end of Lake St Clair in Tasmania's Central Highlands, serves as a welcoming shelter for hikers completing the Overland Track. Built in 1963 and renovated in 2015, the hut features bunk platforms, tables with bench seating, and a composting toilet. A rainwater tank provides fresh water, and a radio facilitates communication with ferry operators. Accessed by foot or boat, it's approximately a three-hour walk north to Bert Nichols Hut and a five to six-hour walk south to the Cynthia Bay trailhead.
