Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation (MAC) unites five traditional custodial groups—the Ngarluma, Mardudhunera, Yaburara, Yindjibarndi, and Wong-Goo-Tt-Oo peoples—to safeguard and celebrate their land, heritage, and culture. Established in 2006, MAC co-manages Murujuga National Park, home to one of the world's largest and most diverse collections of rock art engravings, some dating back over 50,000 years. The corporation actively pursues World Heritage Listing for the Murujuga Cultural Landscape, aiming to protect this significant area for future generations. MAC also offers cultural awareness training and rock art tours, providing visitors with authentic insights into the region's rich Aboriginal heritage.
