
Murrumburrah Railway Station Historic Site, located at Bathurst and Wernon Streets, Murrumburrah, NSW 2587, was a pivotal stop on the Main Southern line from its opening in 1879 until its closure in 1976. The station featured two side platforms and two tracks, serving as a key point for passengers and freight. Although the station was demolished post-closure, the site remains a testament to the region's rich railway heritage. Today, visitors can explore the Harden-Murrumburrah Historical Museum, housed in a 1912 heritage-listed building, to delve deeper into the area's history.
