Murputja Anangu School, established in 1993, serves the communities of Kanpi, Nyapari, and the Angatja Homelands, offering education from Birth to Year 12. The school employs both Anangu and non-Indigenous teaching and support staff, fostering a strong performance and development culture. It is part of the Anangu Lands Partnership, connecting families and children with diverse educational opportunities through relationships with the Wiltja program at Woodville High School, Windsor Gardens High School, the Umuwa Trade Training Centre, TAFE SA, and other programs. Students and families maintain strong connections to Anangu culture and language, with all students speaking Pitjantjatjara, while English is predominantly a school-based language.
