Established in 1981, the Mount Isa Kart Club offers a family-friendly environment for karting enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Affiliated with Karting Queensland and Karting Australia, the club promotes the fun and enjoyment of karting within a safe atmosphere. Over the years, it has produced competitors who have achieved success in both state and national championships. The club has also hosted numerous state and national championships, including the National Dirt Track Championships in 2012, attracting competitors from as far away as Whyalla in South Australia.
