
Established in 1872, Mt Egerton Cemetery is a historic site in Mount Egerton, Victoria, serving as the final resting place for many pioneering families from the 19th century. The cemetery features a memorial wall with niches for cremated remains and areas for memorial plaques. Visitors can explore the grounds via the lower gate on Cemetery Road, with entry permitted on foot. The cemetery is open to visitors, entry via the lower gate on Cemetery Road. Please note that vehicles are not permitted on cemetery property without permission from the Trust Secretary. Visitors are advised to exercise caution due to the presence of snakes in the area from November to April.
