Mowbray Conservation Park

Mowbray Conservation Park, located near Julatten in Far North Queensland, is part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. The park features diverse ecosystems, including rainforest and open eucalypt forest, and serves as a vital wildlife corridor between the Daintree/Carbine Tableland and the Lamb Range/Atherton Tableland. A notable feature is Black Mountain, a pyramid-shaped peak that rises prominently within the park. Visitors can explore the historic Bump Track, established in 1877, which offers scenic views of the Mowbray River valley and traverses the park's varied landscapes.
