Moura Museum

The Moura Museum, located at 34 Gillespie Street, showcases the town's rich history and culture through themed rooms, each dedicated to a significant aspect of Moura's heritage. Exhibits include the First Nations Room, Pioneers Room, Farming Room, Water Room, Industries Room, and Coal Rooms, which delve into open-cut and underground mining. A standout feature is the Underground Man Transporter, restored by the Moura Community Progress Inc., highlighting the community's dedication to preserving local history. The museum also includes a Theatre Room where visitors can watch films about the mining disasters.
