Mounts Bay Sailing Club

Established in 1897, Mounts Bay Sailing Club (MBSC) is a vibrant, family-oriented sailing club located on the banks of the Swan River in Crawley, Perth. Affectionately known as "The Bay," MBSC offers a welcoming environment for sailors of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to seasoned campaigners. The club boasts a rich history in dinghy sailing and is dedicated to promoting the sport to people in all walks of life. As an accredited Discover Sailing Centre, MBSC regularly runs learn-to-sail programs for juniors and adults, as well as learn-to-windsurf courses. The club also actively pursues school sailing initiatives, bringing sailing to the general public in a fun, relaxed, and confident manner. The club's facilities include a jetty complex with 62 pens, accommodating cruisers and powerboats for leisure on the Swan River. MBSC is also known for hosting world-class regattas for a wide range of classes, including the Moth World Championships in December 2019. In addition to its sailing activities, MBSC offers a waterfront bar and function areas suitable for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large celebrations.
