Mountaineer-Glowang trail

Embark on the Mountaineer-Glowang trail in Barrington Tops National Park for a challenging 15 km one-way hike, taking approximately 12 hours to a full day. Starting from Wangat Road, the trail traverses diverse landscapes, including blue gum, messmate, and Antarctic beech forests, offering panoramic views across the Gloucester Tops wilderness. As you ascend, the vegetation shifts, leading to rainforests of coachwood and sassafras.
