Mount Zion

Mount Zion, standing at 464 meters, is a prominent peak in Beetaloo Valley, South Australia. The area offers scenic hiking trails, including the Heysen Trail section from Mount Zion to Wirrabara, which traverses native bushland and provides expansive views. The Beetaloo Reservoir, located nearby, is open to the public for various recreational activities, including wildlife and birdwatching, picnicking, and fishing with an approved permit. Dogs are not permitted in the reservoir precinct.
