Mount York Lookout

Perched at 1,061 meters, Mount York Lookout offers panoramic views over the western plains. This historic site features convict-built roads, now walking tracks, and monuments commemorating significant events like the 1813 European crossing of the Blue Mountains. Visitors can explore walking tracks, enjoy picnics, and engage in activities such as bushwalking, abseiling, mountain biking, and rock climbing. The area is traditionally the land of the Gundungurra and Darug Aboriginal people. Facilities include a car park, picnic area, and public toilets. Camping is permitted with prior booking.
