Mount Yacaaba

Embark on a moderately challenging hike along the Yacaaba Headland walking track, starting from the southern end of Bennetts Beach in Hawks Nest. This 6-kilometer return journey ascends 228 meters through tall open forest, offering panoramic coastal views of Seal Rocks and Tomaree Headland. On clear days, the distant Barrington Tops ridgeline is visible. The track's final section is steep and unformed, suitable for experienced walkers. The summit is marked by an old trigonometrical survey point, providing a rewarding destination for hikers.
