Mount Willoughby Indigenous Protected Area, established in 2002, is a 4,206.72 km² conservation area in South Australia's Mount Willoughby and Evelyn Downs localities, approximately 150 km northwest of Coober Pedy. Managed by the Tjirilya Aboriginal Corporation, it encompasses diverse habitats, including swamps, grasslands, clay pans, breakaway ranges, and red dunes. The area is home to 75 bird species, 14 native mammals, 47 reptiles, and the rare desert daisy Erigeron sessilifolius. Adjacent to Tallaringa Conservation Park, it offers opportunities for ecotourism and cultural experiences.
