Located between Cowell and Cleve on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula, Mount Millar Wind Farm features 35 Enercon E-70 turbines, each with a 2 MW capacity, totaling 70 MW. The turbines, with 71-meter blades atop 85-meter towers, are arranged along a 7-kilometer site to optimize wind exposure. This design generates approximately 170,000 MWh annually, supplying power to about 36,000 households. The wind farm commenced operations in February 2006 and is owned by the Australian Renewables Income Fund.
