
Mount Lindsay, standing at 819 meters, is the highest peak in the Birksgate Range, located near Watarru in the Great Victoria Desert of South Australia. The Birksgate Range extends approximately 100 kilometers from Iltur in the southeast to Watarru in the northwest. The range consists of scattered protrusions of granitic rock that have been weathered into rounded and rugged hills. The mountains are fairly low in elevation; they are highest at the northern end.
