Mount Gibbarnee, standing at 426 meters, is a prominent peak in the Brisbane Range, located in the north-east of Mount Stanley, Queensland. The area features rolling hills and river country, nestled in the upper Eastern Branch reaches of the Brisbane River. The campsite is an expansive, flat, grassed area, tucked away in the bend of the river with access to the river's edge. The region includes hilly and mountainous areas interspersed with open fields. Local wildflowers in the state forests include Christmas Bells, Banksias, Honeysuckles, and Flannel Flowers. Dogs are welcome.
