Mount Edwards

Mount Edwards is a rural locality in Queensland's Scenic Rim Region, encompassing approximately 14.5 square kilometers and home to around 60 residents. The area is dominated by Mount Edwards, a 634-meter volcanic peak within the Moogerah Peaks National Park, offering a challenging 6.5-kilometer return hike with panoramic views of the Fassifern Valley. The surrounding landscape features undeveloped bushland and farmland, primarily used for grazing. The Cunningham Highway traverses the locality, providing access to nearby towns such as Aratula and Boonah. The nearest primary school is Aratula State School, and the nearest secondary school is Boonah State High School.
