Mount Crosby Eastbank Pumping Station

Established in 1892, the Mount Crosby East Bank Pumping Station is a pivotal component of Brisbane's water supply system, providing a significant portion of the region's drinking water. The complex includes the East Bank Water Treatment Plant, which processes up to 850 megalitres of water daily, and a series of heritage-listed workers' cottages built in the 1890s. These cottages reflect the historical significance of the site and the community that developed around it. Ongoing upgrades, such as the East Bank Flood Resilience Program, aim to enhance the station's flood resilience and operational efficiency.
