Mount Coolum National Park

Mount Coolum National Park, located on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, features a 208-meter volcanic dome offering panoramic views of the coast and hinterland. The 1.6 km summit walk is suitable for fit walkers, leading through diverse plant communities, including rare montane heath. The park also protects wallum, paperbark wetlands, open eucalypt forest, and rainforest remnants. Wildlife includes peregrine falcons, echidnas, and northern brown bandicoots. Facilities include a lookout and walking tracks; camping and campfires are not permitted. Access is via Tanah Street West off the David Low Way.
