Every Saturday at 8:00 am, the Mount Beauty parkrun offers a free, friendly 5 km event suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Participants can walk, jog, run, volunteer, or spectate. The course is entirely on tarmac paths, starting and finishing at the Bicentennial Park BBQ shelter on Lakeside Avenue. The flat route provides stunning views of Mount Bogong, Victoria's highest peak. Post-run, participants gather for coffee at Rocky Valley. Registration is required before attending, and a scannable barcode is necessary for results.
