Nestled in Morwell's western entrance, the Morwell Centenary Rose Garden spans over 2 hectares, featuring more than 3,500 roses across 110 beds. Established in 1992 to commemorate the centenary of Morwell Shire, the garden showcases a diverse collection of 400 rose varieties, including species, heritage, floribunda, hybrid teas, miniatures, rugosas, climbers, pillar, and rambling roses. Notable features include a central gazebo, pergola, climbing frames, and a sunken sensory garden planted with perfumed Delbard roses. The garden is open year-round, offering free admission and wheelchair-friendly pathways. In 2009, it received the World Federation of Rose Societies' Award of Garden Excellence, recognizing its outstanding contribution to rose cultivation.
