Moruya Heads lookout

Moruya Heads Lookout in Eurobodalla National Park offers stunning coastal views of the Moruya River mouth. In spring, it's an excellent spot for whale watching as humpback whales migrate south. The area is rich in birdlife, with endangered species like the little tern and hooded plover. Wildflowers such as coastal wattle, banksia, and pittosporum bloom in spring. Nearby beaches provide opportunities for swimming, surfing, and fishing. Adjacent to the lookout is the historic Moruya Heads cemetery, with burials dating back to 1858, reflecting the area's early European heritage.
