Walla Walla, NSW

Morgan's Lookout, a massive white granite outcrop, offers a 360-degree view of the surrounding countryside. This spot was used by bushranger Dan Morgan in the 1860s to evade police capture. Today, it's a popular picnic destination, with steps leading to the top for panoramic vistas. Visitors can also explore the memorials of two local victims of the bushranger: the John McLean Memorial in Culcairn and the Sgt Smyth Memorial in Henty. The lookout is open daily from 8 am to 7 pm during daylight saving time and 8 am to 5 pm otherwise.
