Moree Botanic Gardens

The Moree Botanic Gardens, located along the southern bank of the Mehi River, offer a serene environment for nature enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks along the river, taking in the diverse flora and fauna. The gardens feature sections dedicated to indigenous plant communities, including the semi-evergreen vine thicket garden, showcasing species like belah, brigalow, white box, and kurrajong. Carved trees, significant to the Kamilaroi people, are also present, serving as cultural landmarks. The gardens are accessible via a tarred footpath starting at the Moree Visitor Information Centre.
