Established in 1925, Mordialloc Motor Yacht Club is one of the earliest clubs around Port Phillip. Located on Lambert's Island in Mordialloc Creek, it offers a unique grassed island setting with a top-class clubhouse and extensive outdoor areas for socializing. The original clubhouse, built in 1926 and rebuilt in 1956, has been modernized internally while retaining its historic exterior. The club manages approximately 200 members, ranging from mid-twenties to retirees, and offers moorings suitable for motorboats and trailer-sailers from 18 to 35 feet in length. Celebrating its centenary in 2025, the club continues to be a hub for sailing, fishing, and boating enthusiasts.
