Moore Creek Dam, constructed in 1898, is a historic 18.6-meter structure located in the Upper Moore Creek Valley, northwest of Tamworth, New South Wales. Originally serving as the town's water supply, it ceased to function as a reservoir within 15 years due to siltation. Managed by Crown Lands, the dam underwent significant repairs in November 2023 following flood damage in 2022. These repairs included restoring the access track, removing flood debris, and reinstating safety fencing, enhancing both the dam's structural integrity and visitor safety.
