The Moonta Railway Station, constructed in 1909, now serves as the Moonta Visitor Information Centre. This historic building offers comprehensive tourist information and a selection of affordable souvenirs. On its grounds stands the 1914 Moonta Memorial Gun, a fully restored 105mm Light Field Howitzer from World War I, dedicated in February 2007. The centre is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
