Established in December 1979, Mooney Mooney Aboriginal Area spans 8.4 hectares within Brisbane Water National Park. This protected site features 45 registered Aboriginal rock engravings, including unique bulbous-headed figures and depictions of fish, bandicoots, eels, and a huntsman with a boomerang. The area offers a serene environment for visitors to appreciate and reflect upon the rich cultural heritage of the region.
