
Moondarra State Park, established in 1986, spans 6,992 hectares on the northern edge of the Latrobe Valley, Victoria. The park protects diverse native flora, including eucalyptus species like Silvertop, Yertchuk, Messmate, and Stringybark, as well as native orchids and Banksias. Visitors can enjoy activities such as camping, fishing, bushwalking, and scenic drives. The Moondarra Rail Trail, following the former Walhalla railway line, offers a unique hiking experience. The park is accessible via Tanjil Bren Road, approximately 160 kilometers east of Melbourne.
